Welcome back to conspiracy theories an unpopular culture. I’m your hosts Isaac wise up. Today we’re going to break down the hidden symbolism behind hocus pocus to Yes. We previously covered the satanic rituals, and Adrenochrome symbolism and Hocus Pocus, one back in October 2021. One of the most well received the most listened to shows probably the top 10 episodes. So it’s only fitting we come back for the sequel. We’re going to go through this new film, we’re going to discuss the hidden symbolism you may or may not have called maybe you have maybe you’ve been listening to the show long enough that you now can recognize these themes. And you can point out the occult symbolism for yourself. We’re gonna go to the film, we’re going to discuss different ideas. The Scarlet woman, the red, which the all seeing eye, spiritual warfare, Aleister Crowley, Gerard drawled Gerald Gardner, Wicca, the mass of the Phoenix, the actual history and rituals of witchcraft, and so much more. So without further ado, I say we just get right into it. Let’s talk first about this. And this is how I do every show, right? Every show where we talk about the symbolism hidden in the film. I gave you a little preamble. Before we get into the plot spoiler territory. Should we should you watch this film before you listen to this show? I wouldn’t recommend it. I think it’s trash. I think it’s bad. I think it’s terrible. But it’s also not made for me. So there’s that. It’s kind of like, it’s kind of like Beyonce, right? I don’t like Beyonce music. But guess what? It’s not for me. Much like this film. So if you’re a parent, and you’ve got like some young girl daughters or sons or whatever, young kids, watch it, tread carefully, and I’ll explain to you what you need to look out for. All right. How long is it? It’s only 103 minutes? Not terrible. I saw it on Disney plus. Who’s in it? Well, I mean, it was the same cast, as we saw on hocus pocus one. Bette Midler. Sarah Jessica Parker, the other lady Kathina. Jamie, we talked about all of these folks in the first episode of last year. We’ve got some new characters like Sam Richardson plays Gilbert the great we got three new witches. Whitney peak plays back a couple others who cares. No one cares. It’s fine. Now if you want to hear more about the cast, we’re not going to retread over that territory you gotta go back to last year. I’ll put the link in the show notes to the first hocus pocus episode, where we talked about how Jessica Sarah Jessica Parker is from a bloodline of actual witches backs. Also, Vanessa Shah was an hocus pocus one. She was the prostitute and Eyes Wide Shut. And we talked about how my precious Leo DiCaprio was almost in hocus pocus one. But hocus pocus on was wild. The I did some heavy research and confirmed one of the incantations was a satanic or the ritual. I can’t emphasize enough if you haven’t heard it, or maybe you have heard it or listened to it again. Now this film, fun fact he was actually filmed in Rhode Island, not Salem. So not many fun facts, because guess what this movie? Wasn’t that fun contrary, I was on a nice chat with us doing an Instagram Live and my man, Nick. For Doppel Papadopoulos. My great brother Nick from Bledsoe Seto was on there. He said he liked it. So hey, you know what? Don’t listen to me. I’m just a hater. I’m a naysayer. But yeah, that’s that so without further ado, plots, boilers coming. Let’s get into it.

Alright, so the film starts out at 1653 We’re in Salem and here’s a young Bette Midler playing Winnie. It’s the same characters, the Sanderson Sisters, the three witches. And it’s her birthday. She wants to marry some guy in the town. But the Reverend there who runs the joint, he’s beef and he wants her to marry some other boys. She doesn’t like and ya know, they’re setting the stage. Everyone’s like Girls shouldn’t have a choice. This is the 1600s of course, they thought that, you know, women weren’t given the right to vote till I mean, what, 100 years ago less than not even. So the Reverend banishes her, her the Three Sisters right, he banishes them and the Smiths get involved now the Smiths that’s an actual name from the Salem witch trials. If you go back, I’ve read that Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, his great grandfather was Samuel Smith, and he testified against a suppose which Mary St. So, bit of truth already involved here, right. And you’ll notice in the beginning of the film, you’ll see a phoenix bird flying over the town, a little foreshadowing. So the girls they had this pet spider because they were doing little sort of witchcraft rituals, kind of. So they were kind of right, you know, the Reverend was kind of right. And say they were witches. Now, he was not right in the way he treated them. You know, women deserve autonomy. They should be able to choose whatever boy they want to marry. If they want to do witchcraft, they should be allowed to do that. It’s fine, guys. Calm down, reverend. Reverend so and so from 1653. So anyway, they have the spider and the spider jumps on the reverend. And the town’s like, oh my god, there are witches now. And they call the spider the hand of Satan. And so the three sisters, the Sanderson sisters, they run into the woods. And here is where they are met by a powerful witch, who shape shifts from a bird as the one flying over Salem Witch I’m calling a phoenix. Could be could not be I could be wrong. It kind of seems like a phoenix. But the woman the powerful woman, she is dressed all in red, just like the scarlet woman now. Here’s a little something else I got cooking up for you. All. You all out there I bought. If you recall, when I did hocus pocus one I bought a copy of the text that they have in the Sanderson, the Necronomicon book they’re using for ritual. So I wanted to read through some of the Latin in there and look it up. And that’s how your boy was the only one through heavy research was able to confirm that they in fact did use an actual legitimate satanic ritual of Latin phrases. So for hocus pocus two, I bought this lovely new Disney hocus pocus spell book. It’s actually very well done. I’m gonna do a whole show about it. Not quite done with reading it yet. There’s some findings in there that we need to be concerned with. Aleister Crowley Hint, hint, hint. But in that book, they talk about the red witch, which is who this lady is. In the movie. Okay. The Scarlet woman who’s the scarlet woman that is the horror of Babylon and what is the horror of Babylon do brings about the end of times. And if you’ve listened to the show, or you’ve read any of my books, particularly aliens UFOs in the occult, user illusion, one and two, and I believe the dark path we talk about Jack Parsons and the foundations of the American space program being related to the occult. And what was Jack Parsons trying to do? He was trying to bring about the scarlet woman through ritual. So he could incarnate make sexy time and procreate to make the Antichrist. Now, the actual devil with a pitchfork and horns, not really, it was more or less an idea of bringing to fruition. Aleister Crowley’s fantasy of the AON of Horus and what is that? Very specifically, it’s the new age, where man no longer relies upon priests or external gods, man is the new god. That’s what they want. Okay.

We’re not done with that. We’re going to come back into that. If you’re new to all these topics, you’re probably thinking what the hell are you talking about? My head is spinning. You’re crazy. Well, I mean, kind of right. But we’re gonna come back to that. And but for now, listen to this clip. The red witch, aka the scarlet woman dressed in red. She shows up. And she’s like sniffing on the children. She wants to eat them. Because much like in the first Hocus Pocus, that’s part of the plot, eating the kids and their souls to have a mortality ticket lism

The witch the red which all her outfit are low or low Red Riding with Red Riding Hood. outfit. She’s got an all seeing eye. All right. And she talks about how people will fear what corrupts them. What does that mean? And shout out to Olivia on Patreon. Olivia hit me up, asked about that particular scene. Yes, there’s something important to that, right. That’s why it’s in the script. Because if you follow some of the thoughts of conspiracy, you’ll find that in the dark satanic realm, they get off on the perversion of turning innocence back out. We also need to consider this idea of, you know, Aleister Crowley champion, do what thou wilt, meaning, embrace whatever you think the universal will is for you. And don’t let anything get in your way. Another idea, if we talk about the free Masonic checkerboard, the black and white checkerboard floor, the Moses pavement, they call it the black and white symbolizes duality of good and evil. One must embrace both good and evil to have the knowledge, right. And why is that a problem? Well, according to that line of thought, they say, look, there’s no such thing as good and evil. Those are all fabrications made up by the church. So nothing’s really bad. Because if you get into the Church of Satan, they believe in social Darwinism, which ironically, is very capitalist in nature. And it’s about I should be able to do whatever I want. Might is right, the strongest richest guy on the block should be able to do whatever they want, because they are further evolved, and therefore superior. So that’s why you see the all seeing eye on the red, which it symbolizes, her eyes are open, her pineal gland has been open to this occult way of thinking. That’s why Whitney eventually ends up pursuing the what he called Maximum Magica, the all power, she wants to be the most powerful and in the satanic schools of thought, that’s okay. It’s not really witchcraft. I’m gonna tell you right now, witchcraft and satanism are not the same thing. They’re two different things. This film kind of gets it wrong, technically, and we’re going to talk about it as we go through this. But the apple is a symbolic element of this, right? We know the story of the Garden of Eden. Eve, takes a bite of the apple atoms, I Give me a bite of that apple. God was like, just only the apple, Lucifer the snakes over there like Braga apples for days, let’s go. It’s the forbidden fruit because it’s the knowledge of good and evil. You get it? The knowledge of the good and evil, the black and the white, the all seeing eye. It’s all related. Now. The red which talks about how in the woods is the altar that makes Salem a special place where these young Sanderson sisters can charge up their magic. And you know, we confirm like in the first Hocus Pocus, the witches eat kids to stay young and beautiful. And this is when the redwoods hands them the book, right? I think they just refer to as the book. But when you see the cover pop open, it says it’s the manual of witchcraft and alchemy. All right. Again, I hate to keep saying it. Listen to the first one hocus pocus when we went deep into all this because you know, those are buzzwords you hear the word alchemy takes you to the beliefs that though the alien from Egypt, came down and told mankind the secrets of power, including magic. Now what the book really is, like we already talked about in the first is the Necronomicon. The Necronomicon is a book, a grim wire, if you will of spells bound in human skin, also called the Book of the Dead in the HP Lovecraft fictional universe. And what the cult is do in real life is that they use HP Lovecraft mythos.

To conduct chaos magic to try to channel actual entities into our world. Sounds crazy. I’m not making it up. Now, what’s fascinating is the HP Lovecraft was talking about translations of the Necronomicon overtime. One translation was in Salem for a period according to him. And guess who owned the Pikmin family? Who cares, right? Well, if you listen to the Hocus Pocus, part one from 2021 we go deep into that, that whole topic and we confirm that the Pikmin bloodline was the actual casting director. Are hocus pocus ones actors. Now she was not an hocus pocus to that’s according to the IMDB page. I looked it up so the witch she hands over the book she does look because I’m one for being spelled the magic at maximum kind of like God right kind of like God’s saying, Look partake of any of this beauty you find in the Garden of Eden just don’t eff with that tree. And of course, the forbidden fruit, man like the moth to the flame can’t resist. It’s the power spell. It makes a witch all powerful, but she warns them it’s gonna bring doom to you. Sounds familiar? It’s the same story as Adam and Eve. A Tale as old as time as they say. So the girls they walk away from the woods, now initiated into this new Coven they opened the spell book they’re like we want to get some revenge. so the Sanderson Sisters recite a chant. They talk about setting fire upon thy house so full of lies, and whose house catches on fire the Reverend and the Reverend he’s, he’s running out the house. He’s like it’s evil. It’s the work of Satan. And he’s not wrong. What’s interesting here, Aleister Crowley himself wrote a libre, as he called him, the book of lies. The book of lies is a reference to the Holy Bible, because again, Croley, in some of these occultists were very much against the church. All right. Interesting enough, if you look into the Book of lies, in that book, there is a ritual called the mass of the Phoenix, which is very interesting, because if you watch the film, the red which I ascertain is in fact, the Phoenix, the bird flying at the beginning of the movie, that’s the red which that’s the Phoenix. And guess what happens during that ritual during the mass of Phoenix, the practitioners consume the cakes of light now, if you’ve been around on this, if you’ve been listening to my shows, you already know what’s going on here. And the verse in the book of the law tells us very plainly, it says, The best blood is of the moon monthly. And of course, you know, that references the menstrual blood from a female. And when you get into some of the ideas that we found researching for that show I’m talking about we found that they consider the monthly blood to be an aphrodisiac of sorts, an additive that, I guess they used to use back in the day, because it contains various sex hormones. Why does it matter? Well, if you get into the talk about Adrenochrome, which we’ve talked about, many, many, many, many times, particularly in 2020, we went deep into it on several shows. It seems to be playing a role here. All right. Now I did a show earlier this year about Kanye West’s girlfriend Julia Foxx. She used her blood to paint herself being sacrificed very witchy and she said her words not mine. During the sacrifice the host dies, but his energy lives on in another realm. Now that she’s not the only one to do it, this is a technique used by many occultists Marina Abramovich, you know from the famous pizza gate scandal. Austin Osman Spare Aleister Crowley they all tried to sacrifice energy to the alien gods. And of course Marina Abramovich a spirit cooking is tied very closely to Crowley’s case of light that uses blood and semen for Gnostic communion in their little rituals, right? And some magicians will say that the semen attracts demonic entities. But that’s just going real deep into it right.

Now, the reason we’re talking about all this is because you find out in this film later on that it is about a blood sacrifice. Now okay. But the mass of the Phoenix particularly is a it’s a ritual in SilverStar that’s the Argentum Astro Aleister Crowley’s little secret society of magic where you go mano a mano one on one with a teacher, a mentor. Anyway and it’s performed at sunset This is from lever 44 I don’t know that they call it called the 44 the number of Horus saying it’s four times 1111 being the number of magic you know, whatever, by losing half is another But anyway, let’s talk about the ritual real quick and then we’re going back into the movie All right. I’m gonna read you the ritual, the Phoenix half a bell for sound fire for sight a knife for touch. Two cakes, oh, my two cakes, one for taste the other for smell. He stands before the altar of the universe at sunset when Earth life fades. He summons the universe crowns it with magic light to replace the son of natural light right supplanting God God’s natural order of things. He preys on to and gives homage to raw hor could to him. He then sacrifices. The first cake burnt, illustrates the profit drawn from the scheme of incarnation the second mixed with his blood and eaten illustrates the use of the lower life to feed the higher life. He then takes the oath and becomes free unconditioned, the absolute burning up the flame of his prayer and born again the Phoenix. So that’s the ritual the mass of the Phoenix which you could argue through a couple degrees of separation may very well fit into the scheme of this movie maybe right loosely. Let’s get back into the movie the credits roll. I know rolling into the credits. Good night. We’re now in modern day Salem. We see that same phoenix bird flying overhead and we’re introduced to the new three main characters. One of them is wearing one of the girls is wearing a shirt covered in all seeing eyes and and she has the checkerboard the black and white duality. I think it’s like orange and black. And you can see it on my Instagram for yourself. See we think again questioning the nature of good and evil. That’s the role for these new witches to question the world in which they are brought up in. Interestingly enough the high school they attend the mascot is a Puritan merit. And these girls, they are accused of being witches, but it’s a little different than it was in 1653. They are not lit on fire, thank goodness. But they reference how every year they do a birthday ritual inside the sacred circle. Actual witchcraft, right? She teases in a way. she teases a guy. She’s lifted, listing off ingredients pretending to do a witch ritual of some kind. And she says, Say 10 referring to the vegan food, S e i t a n and the joke about how she said Satan, she just scroll in with them. Ha ha ha. Next, there’s this Halloween festival going on. They do a nice touch here. They almost got me. They play a little b 50. twos. JK and Prom plan at Claire. And then we find out one of the girls Her name is Cassie. Her father is the mayor. Her father? Is blood related to the actual Reverend from 1653. All right. And they go to great lengths to make sure the Reverend is telling the girls that how much they have to eat these apples. From this caramel apple truck. I argued this is symbolic for eating of the forbidden fruit. They need to wake up to the witch fantasies that is laid out for them. And of course, you know what happens? They will. In Salem, there’s a local shop set up inside the cabin that the Sanderson sisters were I guess living in the Hocus Pocus, one movie. And he’s putting on this big magic show. For customers. It feels very much like an actual commercial for witchcraft stuff. And the guys inside the cult shop, named Gilbert, right? He’s really into the stuff. He’s not doing it just to make money. He’s actually into it. You find out later he says that out loud. But he’s selling the crystals and so on. And he knows.

He mentioned about how when a girl turns 16 That’s when she gets her which powers and He hands the three girls a birthday ritual candle, right? Because our main character, it’s our birthday right? Now the girls, they’re headed to the woods. And the one of them asks why they’re doing that. Okay. Why are we going into the woods? And the other says, Well, it’s because they’re beautiful. And this is kind of based on real witchcraft. All right. They, if you look at the beliefs of witchcraft, they they, they worship nature in a way that honors the God and Goddess. Because again, they don’t believe in Satan. They believe in God and Goddess and nature. And they see mother nature in all living things. So they actually believe in doing the least amount of harm possible, which is pretty nice. You know, this is the white witches we’re talking about. You know, when we’re talking about white magic and black magic, white magic seeks to sort of make the world a better place. Black Magic is to make the world a better place for the practitioner. That’s a self centered egoic. And to know me in left hand path sort of form. But the reason that people believe witches worship Satan is it goes back to Christian persecution. They thought, Look, if you’re not worshipping Christ, you gotta be worshipping Satan. And we all know today, not true. But the black, which is to put a bow on that they’re more into self centered thinking, which is why I think the Sanderson sisters are black witches, they practice black magic. And that’s why I hear him talking about Satan all the time. But real witches, they believe in what they call the all as a god. And they believe that the all is a female spirit. And the female spirit was everything imbued in all things. And she originally created a male spirit out of herself. And there’s, you know, two halves are separate, but the same kind of like the Holy Trinity. And they gave birth to the universe. And in witchcraft, they’ll call this female male goddess, God, pair as the lady and the Lord, which I’ve always argued for years. I think that’s why Lady Gaga has the name Lady Gaga. I think she’s a witch. And again, it’s alright. It’s okay. If you don’t want to be a witch, don’t be a witch. You don’t want your kids to be a witch. Tell them Don’t be a witch. I guess I don’t know. Dear anyway, back to the movie. The girls they do a real ritual in the woods they got the crystals Yeah no I got crystals that make me a witch no I want to make the world a positive better place. I try to align my energies to Christ. But then I got this other voice in here as I hit the crystal bro I don’t know. Again, this is the idea of the veneration of the feminine forces. The three phases of female life you’ve got the maiden that’s your young innocent girl you’ve got she’s then you’ve got the mother. That’s the all loving and protective. Then you’ve got the Crone, which is the old lady, right? But the old lady is the great teacher. She’s the repository of all knowledge. We talked about this in my book, Kubrick’s code because I believe in Eyes Wide Shut we see that element in three of the main characters. Ironically, because we talked about Eyes Wide Shut and hocus pocus one, because Domino, the prostitute is in the movie. Yes. So they light the candle that Gilbert gave them they’re on the woods, right? And what does it do? It summons the Sandersons meaning it’s the Black Candle that they’re talking about in the storyline. They’re virgins, they light the candle Sandersons come back to life. Oh, my God. And they show up they do a little show tune. A play off of Elton John’s the bitches back. They sing the witches are back. And it’s painful. And it’s atrocious. And I won’t stand for it. Terrible. And then but again, not for me. They talk about getting the spellbook back so they can get back to stealing teenage souls so they can try to remain alive. And the three young girls, they convinced them that like hey, we’re not teenagers, so you can’t steal our souls. But you’re our idols. And I’m going to show you guys where to get some souls. And the Sandersons are like okay, cool. And the young teenage girls take the Sandersons to Walgreens and they make a big to do about Walgreens. I mean, you don’t see the logo less than 100 times in this movie. And they go to Walgreens. Oh, it’s so big and beautiful. I mean, they might as well just have said, they’ve got products for everyone in here. They’ve got everything and stocking the shelves and the prices are so low, they might as well set all that. Anyhow, they got to go to the makeup area. And the teenagers tell the Sandersons look. They put teenage souls inside the products like lotion, and face masks and things like that. Mary Sanderson grabs a what do you call it a face mask? I’m probably not saying that right. Let’s like, I don’t know. I need a female in here to help me out. You know what I’m saying? Like a makeup face mask you put on at night. And she picks it up and she comments how it looks like the face of the newborn. And she proceeds to eat it. Yes, yes, yes. And I’ll put the image on the Instagram given off heavy frazzled drip vibes. All right. If you don’t know the frazzle drip story, it’s a theory about how some people particularly Hillary Clinton, were taking faces off of young kids and putting them on their face to absorb the blood and the energy. Is it real? How would I know seems preposterous, but maybe. So now we hear the witches. They reference Lucifer and Satan throughout the whole movie only Lucifer. How did she do that? Right. But again, Ro witchcraft. They don’t really worship Satan, but we could argue the Sandersons are in the black Dark Magic, maybe they do. So the witches are basically looking for the spell book. Meanwhile, back at the occult shop, Gilbert reveals to us the truth. He calls himself Gilbert the great. And why is that? Because he says his words not mine. He’s got knowledge of the occult

Why would you do that they’re evil. And listen to how interesting it is that he says, No, they were ahead of their time. They’re just misunderstood, which is a common trope that you hear. Again, it’s the knowledge of the good and evil, right? That’s what that philosophy is. It’s like there’s no such thing as evil that’s fabricated morality. It’s not true. I disagree. I think evil exists in the world. Call me crazy. So anyhow, they throw the teenagers in the dungeon. And we find out that Gilbert has this history, he saw that Sandersons back in 93, blah, blah, blah. They look into the Book, they find the book right, and they find the spell of magic and maxima. And again we hear the power from this spell is dangerous. It requires a price be paid for the power. And if you look at the book spell which took a freeze frame. It says what is valued most dearly shall be traded. This is the idea of blood sacrifice. And you’ll also notice it says I call upon the sacred land or raise the power in my hand the north to south east to west give me more than I possess. Again, this is actual witchcraft. This is referred to as calling down the quarters. They do this with the elements is where as well we’ve got the Earth, the air, the water and the fire, same thing. And then a ritual The High Priestess which is bet MEDLARS character, Winnie Sanderson. She leads the ritual while the others in the coven. They do like the scientific work. They’re calling down the quarters, they’re setting the scene. So again, based on reality, in a way and you also see something about how I sacrifice my love tonight. On the spell requires various things like a lovers head, which is what they’re trying to do in the next part of the film. We’ll cover more about the sacrifice thing. And we also here at this scene, oh by Lucifers hangnail. All right. Now the witches, they put a binding spell on Gilbert, they say look, you’re gonna gather all these elements. And we’re gonna go kill the reverends descendant Mayor Trotsky. So Gilbert, he goes ahead, he snatches up the the head from Billy buttered sin from hocus pocus one. The witches they go to the fair to find the mayor. cue up another painful song and dance. The two girls are trying to get out of the dungeon the teenagers, they use some magic spells and they do just that. All right. Now the three girls get together and they put the sand they trick the Sanderson which is inside of a circle of salt. So now their powers are trapped. Right? They’re using witchcraft to fight witchcraft. Anessa unnecessary evil, if you will. And meanwhile Trotsky’s like oh, I needed that Apple had to go to Walgreens to get the apple So again, the talk about the apple. But the witches eventually they get everything they need to do this power spell the mystic Imagica. They’re out in the sacred woods. It’s the final scene. We’re already done, folks. We confirm at this point, our main teenage girl, Becca, she’s a witch. She’s 16 She’s got her powers. That’s how they’re going to defeat these bad witches. And the book itself, the Necronomicon decides it’s going to help the girls out. Becca and the teenage witches, they realize they can all be witches, they work together to shut down the Sandersons because the Sandersons want to take over the whole town. And during the fight scene, you can see Sarah Jessica doing the man Oh core nudo on her broomstick. Again, a witch hex. I’ll put that on the Instagram to you better like and subscribe. Now the Sandersons they continue with the spell of magical maxima. And like I said, it requires you to give up something that you love a blood sacrifice. Only when he doesn’t realize this, because what happens when he does the spell. She’s got all this power but the thing she loves her two sisters. They’re dead that could put dissolved into there. And when he wants to reverse the spell, but she can die now now she’s the all powerful. So the girl the teenage girls, they do a spell to reunite Winnie with her sisters. And little does she know when he realizes like, oh, that means I’m dying to I’m getting dissolved as well.

That’s it. They’re done. The three girls introduced they’re now the new witches they walk off in the same fashion in that weird little wonky fashion that Sandersons walk, implying that they are the new trio of witches. They throw in one mention one more mention of Walgreens for good measure. And that’s it right. So if enough people liked the film, and Walgreens is still around in 10 years, I’m sure there’ll be a hocus pocus three. In conclusion, let’s wrap it up. I didn’t like the movie. They broke out into song way too much for me. The Walgreens mentioning the product placement was over the top. They’re like, oh, I need a new flying broomstick. Let’s go to Walgreens to check it out. But of course, it’s terrible. It’s for young girls. It’s not for a 40 something year old man. So who cares what I think. However, using that same argument, who are they trying to influence? It ain’t 40 something year old men. It’s young teenage girls. What are they trying to influence them with? What are they trying to show them? They’re trying to show them the mystical magical properties of witchcraft and the actual occult religion, not a religion, faith. Not a faith, philosophy, I don’t know. But you know what I’m saying? Just like an hocus pocus one. They take it a step further. And they show you events based on real witchcraft. They did this. They talk about this annual birthday ritual sacred space. Because sacred spaces are typical in witchcraft rituals, because they’re consecrated space with actual altars and birthdays, they’re not one of the sabots in actual witchcraft from what I’m reading. But in the Church of Satan, it’s one of the three major holidays. So they’re kind of blending these two things. But it’s not a documentary. Right. And also, I should, again, emphasize, from what I can tell, which is aren’t into Satanism, but Satanists are into witchcraft. Kind of interesting. If you watch the 70s documentary with Anton LaVey, about the Church of Satan. You’ll see them talk a lot about witches and warlocks. But again, like the first one, they’re eating kids or eaten souls, something we already covered in depth in the first hocus pocus film analysis in October 21. But what’s new in was something new we can talk about here in Hocus Pocus, too. Is the blood sacrifice the magic of maximum. Is it true? Do they really do that? The witches do this? Well, let’s look no further than Gerald Gardner. This is the guy who claimed that he found a witch cult in the woods. And they taught him all the witchcraft rituals. And he started the religion of Wicca from this. He was also I should know, influenced by a lot of occult organizations, the Rosicrucians Aleister Crowley the Ordo Templi Orientis magical order which Aleister Crowley initiated Gardiner into the fourth degree. He actually thought so when Crowley died, Gardner thought he was the head of the OTO. It turned out he wasn’t true. But anyway, Gerald Gardner wrote the Book of Shadows. All right, I’m gonna read you from it. And I quote, power is latent, and the magic of maximum is called the power spell by the way, okay, bear that in mind. Quote, power is latent in the body and may be drawn out and used in various ways by the skilled, but unless confined in a circle, it will be swiftly dissipated. Hence, the importance of a properly constructed circle. Power seems to exude from the body via the skin and possibly from the orifices of the body. Hence, you should be properly prepared, then it goes on through the preparation process. The great right is far the best it releases enormous power, but the conditions and circumstances make it difficult for the mind to maintain control. At first, it is again a matter of practice and the natural strength of the operators will and in lesser degree of those of his assistants. If, as of old there were many trained assistants present and all wills properly, attune wanders occurred. Sorcerers chiefly used the blood sacrifice. And while we hold this to be evil, we cannot deny that this method is very efficient.

And when the victim is human, and when the victim is human disappears entirely. This practice is an abomination, but it is so priests know this well. And by their alto de FAAH. With the victims pain and terror, the fires acting much the same as circles, obtain much power of old the flagellant certainly evoke power, but through not being confined in a circle much was lost. We’re almost done. The amount of power raised was so great and continuous that anyone with knowledge could direct and use it. And it is most probable that the classical and heathen sacrifices were used in the same way. So there you go, the guy who founded wicker asserts that it exists. He says it’s evil. Don’t do it. But guess what, you can get a lot of power from it. Is it a coincidence that the Sandersons use the power spell the magic of maximize the power spell? And this whole idea of blood sacrifice is in a chapter about the power in Gerald Gardner’s Book of Shadows? Again, a major finding. So does witchcraft and Wicca do blood sacrifice? Apparently not. But I would guess, if you like a lot of these secret societies, there’s probably some inner circle where some deviants exist, and they actually subscribe to this idea. Alright. It’s like the Freemasons, not every Freemason is illuminate confirm, but when they get into the inner circles and move up, there’s probably like an Inner Inner Circle off to the side that does some naughty boy things. It’s probably like that. Thus, in conclusion, should we cancel hocus pocus to? Absolutely not. It’s kind of like a Ouija board right? I’d recommend not messing with it. Especially if you’re trying to live a Christian life and aligned to Christ. But guess what, not everyone subscribes to Christianity and that’s okay. That’s their freedom of choice their free will. And they’re allowed that I mean, I have my doubts sometimes in Christianity, how could you not? Plus Christians can be very overzealous. You can’t it’s like, you give them an inch they take a yard sometimes. But again, I’m one of these lukewarm Christians don’t look to me for that. And that’s just my two cents. Do what you want. I don’t have kids. But if I did, I would advocate if they want to watch this, I just watched it with them. If they insist, you could use it as an educational tool. If they start getting into some of this stuff, you know, they’re like, oh, I want to some crystals to give them the crystals. That’s fine. You got to watch what they’re where they’re headed, though. Maybe they maybe they want to go a little deeper. That’s when you guys say look. Yeah, be careful because this can there’s there’s paths within this. paths within this, don’t go down that left hand path. But I guarantee if a young impressionable girl watches this movie, they will be interested in witchcraft, I would argue that. So it’s up to the parents to convince the child why they shouldn’t be, which not an easy job, right? Not an easy job. The Bible warns against this stuff. And it’s about discernment. We don’t have the power of discernment, and dabbling around making contact with entities in the spiritual world. Most of us are not qualified to do that. But the Bible also says don’t eat shellfish and don’t have lost I mean, that’s a pretty tall bar to clear. Right.

So I’m and again, the mission of my research and my show, I’m not trying to cancel anything. I’m just trying to raise awareness and trying to make sense of some of these things. You know, we need to have logical discussions about these topics. So again, use your your kids as the example if they watch it, and they’re want to do witchcraft. You have to figure out why they shouldn’t. If you look at actual witchcraft, a lot of the ideas within it aren’t terrible. But for some reason, the Christian faith and the Bible warn us warns us against all of the things they do like divination and all that right. So again, just an idea to kick around the mall around. But that’s what’s in the film. I would, I would argue the whole film is an advertisement for witchcraft. I also would say, let’s not be crazy. Same with Harry Potter, right? I think Harry Potter’s is more advertising for witchcraft and occult ideas. It makes for a fun, fantastical story. But when you see that they’re using actual occult books and practices and ideas within the story, it makes you wonder if there’s not a higher agenda involved here. Should we cancel and burn up all the Harry Potter books now? Should we cancel the hocus pocus now, most most people will watch this and just you know, it’s fun, whatever. Can’t get our panties in a bunch. Got to keep a level head. Plus, like if you want to, if you want to start protesting it, that’s one thing. But just know that other people are watching it. And they might think you’re a little nutty and a little overzealous. So but you know, do you do you find your path.
