Comment of the movie “us”.
I just wanted to add one part. I’ve watched other analysis of the film and I like yours the best of course. One part that I’ve heard that you didn’t mention was the children are half subhuman since the mother is subhuman. The boy realized that his mother knows exactly the way to the underground so at the end when he looked at his mother that’s how he knew who she was. He was a little frightened, so he put his mask on. His “blanky” like you said. What he uses to comfort himself. That’s all. Love your analysis. I listen to and watch all of your stuff. I love that fact that your just analyzing. Your a Christian but you don’t preach, judge, or put down people’s lifestyles. I hate how so many people put down homosexuality. I’m straight but my nephew is gay and I have some gay friends and I wouldn’t think they would choose this path for anything in the world. I’m not going to go into that. But I’m happy to have found someone to listen to who’s beliefs seem to align with mine. I just saw the movie “Us” two days ago. Your thoughts on it were what was missing from any other analysis. Thanks for keeping us “woke” in the right way.
