Unknown Speaker 0:06
Welcome back to a call symbolism and pop culture. I’m your host, Isaac Weishaupt. Today we’re going to talk about Kenneth anger who died at the age of 96.
Unknown Speaker 0:15
He died on May 11.
Unknown Speaker 0:17
They waited till May 24. To announce his death, while they settled out the estate, apparently,
Unknown Speaker 0:25
we’re going to talk about why. Because I’m gonna guess some of us don’t even know who that person is. So get ready to have your minds blown. Or we’re gonna go through this very prominent occultist. And look, you could make several one hour shows on him, but we’re going to keep it limited. To talk about why he’s very instrumental on pop culture and the overall theme of ritual magic, and spell casting through the medium of film and television, and art.
Unknown Speaker 1:00
He was very instrumental in concept of implanting esoteric thought into art form,
Unknown Speaker 1:08
which we’re gonna find out today was influencing folks, like the great David Lynch, always Twin Peaks, we’re always going back to Twin Peaks, get used to it, get used to it.
Unknown Speaker 1:21
I told you, I got twin twin peaks on the brain.
Unknown Speaker 1:26
And every bit of research I do, because, you know,
Unknown Speaker 1:30
the other one option is I just turned this into a twin peak show. But I know something is held, maybe even most of us don’t know, Twin Peaks don’t care about Twin Peaks. So I got to keep trucking on with the stuff you do care about.
Unknown Speaker 1:46
The problem is,
Unknown Speaker 1:49
everybody on the supporter feeds, they’re going to be living in both of my worlds.
Unknown Speaker 1:54
Okay, the free feed,
Unknown Speaker 1:57
will only the free feed lovers. That’s what we call it on breaking social norms. That’s a much nicer term.
Unknown Speaker 2:03
But I mean, and I like to call your free feed losers. But the free feed losers, they’re gonna get what they’ve always got a call symbolism, and pop culture.
Unknown Speaker 2:14
But the supporter feeds they get a call centers and pop culture and the Twin Peaks gray lodge deep dive, okay.
Unknown Speaker 2:22
So of course, David Lynch and Twin Peaks is going to be constantly being used as an example of this, that and the other connections to the call, because like I said, it’s kind of the ultimate masterclass in all the topics we’ve talked about for all these years.
Unknown Speaker 2:39
So Kenneth anger,
Unknown Speaker 2:42
he influenced David Lynch.
Unknown Speaker 2:46
And Kenneth anger
Unknown Speaker 2:49
was very much illuminate, confirm, it depends on who you call the illuminate. But he’s very much a cult confirmed. All right, the idea of putting esoteric thought into art form, which is what Twin Peaks is all about.
Unknown Speaker 3:04
And kind of anger, if you’re still not interested in anger is credited as the guy who basically manifested MTV.
Unknown Speaker 3:13
He’s the one who was putting music to moving film.
Unknown Speaker 3:17
Interesting.
Unknown Speaker 3:18
And I was going to type up a URL. And before I forget, if you still haven’t gotten in the VIP section for two bucks, you still got time, you still got a few weeks.
Unknown Speaker 3:27
But it’s coming close. I want you to get into the VIP section for two bucks, use coupon code cherry pie link in the show notes. As always, that’s how you’re going to get into the great Lodge. And you’re going to join us as we go through the entire Pitt Twin Peaks series and I want you to start with us. Because three, four months now when we’re still talking about it, you’re gonna have to catch up. Alright, two bucks, get you right in the door.
Unknown Speaker 3:51
And then you’re gonna love it. It’s gonna be great. Links are always in the show notes. Okay.
Unknown Speaker 3:55
I was going to type up a a bio about
Unknown Speaker 4:05
Kenneth anger.
Unknown Speaker 4:07
But shockingly Fake News, Fox, they did a decent job of I’m going to read you from their website. And then we’re gonna go into his different connections to Charles Manson and all these crazy ideas.
Unknown Speaker 4:19
Kind of anger the shocking and influential avant garde artist who defied sexual and religious taboos in such short films as Scorpio rising and fireworks and dish the most lurid movie star gossip in his underground Classic Hollywood Babylon has died. He was 96
Unknown Speaker 4:40
angered died of natural causes on May 11, in Yucca Valley, California. His artists liaison Spencer Glasby told AP on Wednesday fucile boldly imaginative imaginatively mined the forbidden depths of culture and consciousness as anger, who is admired
Unknown Speaker 5:00
It ranged from filmmakers Martin Scorsese one of the greatest and David Lynch. Maybe the greatest
Unknown Speaker 5:07
you know, actually I have opinions about the David Lynch thing.
Unknown Speaker 5:11
Twin Peaks is my favorite David Lynch work
Unknown Speaker 5:15
by far and I think it’s because it has enough Normie watered down
Unknown Speaker 5:23
that I can sort of under I can sort of take the strangeness because a lot of his other stuff like Eraserhead Blue Velvet even while maybe not blue velvet Blue Velvet is pretty good. But Eraserhead it’s it’s like all symbolism all the time and it’s just feels too far out there for me. So anyway, just the hot take
Unknown Speaker 5:48
kind of thing are also influenced that’s rock stars as the clash and The Rolling Stones. We’re going to talk about Mick Jagger as well and Marianne faithful later,
Unknown Speaker 5:55
he was among the first openly gay filmmakers and a pioneer in using soundtracks as counterpoints to moving pictures.
Unknown Speaker 6:03
Well before the rise of punk and heavy metal, anger was juxtaposing music with bikers, sadomasochism, occultism, and Nazi imagery. When the Sex Pistols and the clash appeared on the same bill at in 1976 concert, clips from angers movies were screened behind them.
Unknown Speaker 6:22
And your hand his greatest commercial success and notoriety as the author of Hollywood Babylon, which I’ve got a copy of that. Right here. If you’re watching the video version.
Unknown Speaker 6:33
I got the I got the original one. And you know, right now is silver pretty penny. Of course, mines all beat the crowd that covers or I’ll bet.
Unknown Speaker 6:42
It’s a pretty interesting talks about the Golden Age of Hollywood. In fact, the one I have is published in 1981. It was originally released in 1975. I assume this is the first edition, I don’t know, maybe not. Maybe it’s like the second, who cares.
Unknown Speaker 6:57
But the opening pages, if you if you look at the opening pages that he dedicates it to the scarlet woman, which is very Jack Parsons, which we might get into a little bit later, and he also has a quote from Aleister Crowley. So if you’re watching the video, it says to the scarlet woman on the opening page, then it has a big old quote. Hell, I can’t find it. Yeah, every man and every woman is a star Aleister Crowley and it’s got a photo of old timey Hollywood.
Unknown Speaker 7:29
I don’t know dancers, with Saturn in the background of all things.
Unknown Speaker 7:37
Which makes you think of Hollywood which makes you think of the Walk of Stars, right? In astrology, which astrology is the oldest of the occult sciences, going back to the Babylonians, the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Arabs. And it’s very much part of the New Age philosophies as above so below the ideas of manifestation and ritual magic, which has been popularized and very much in the mainstream right now.
Unknown Speaker 8:08
Alright, moving on with the Fox News article. Let’s keep reading. We’re almost done.
Unknown Speaker 8:14
Scandal in Hollywood practically grew up together in anger, assembled and extraordinary and often approch apocryphal family album. The end He’s referring, the writer is referring to the book, Hollywood Babylon.
Unknown Speaker 8:30
Whether pictures from the fatal car crash of Jane Mansfield, or such wildly I’m trying to find that for you. I got notes in here. I just looked at the day
Unknown Speaker 8:39
when when kind of angered died.
Unknown Speaker 8:43
I was like, oh, that’s when I got the book. I bought the book at the right time. I don’t remember how much it was 510 bucks on Amazon. It was nothing.
Unknown Speaker 8:52
Yeah, hell, I can’t find it. It’s fine. But there’s a there’s a photo of Jane Mansfield. A car accident.
Unknown Speaker 8:59
I recall they said she was decapitated and you don’t see the head in the photo, but it’s pretty gory still right.
Unknown Speaker 9:11
Or such widely disputed allegations as actor Clara Bow having sex with the University of Southern California football team. Completed in the in the late 1950s and originally published in French.
Unknown Speaker 9:23
Hollywood Babylon was banned for years in the US, and was still adult fare upon formal release in 1975. When New York Times reviewer Peter Andrews labeled it a 306 page box of poison bonbons, written as if a sex maniac sex maniac had taken over the Reader’s Digest condensed a book club. Well, I’m all in all right, you sold me.
Unknown Speaker 9:48
But what’s to me what’s really interesting and I posted a photo on my Instagram I’ll post it again. Because I’m gonna make a post on Instagram of the show with some different
Unknown Speaker 10:00
images of Kenneth anger and this that and the other.
Unknown Speaker 10:06
What’s interesting is there’s a paragraph in Hollywood Babylon. And I want you to listen to this.
Unknown Speaker 10:13
The 1969 tape Matt Thomas, Sharon Tate and Charles Manson. Okay. The 1969 Tate massacre was not old Hollywood would be felled The Red House on clo drive resembled the devastation caused by a jet plane crash. The bad ship lollipop piloted by Uncle sugar. Charlie Manson programmed puppet Deus Ex garbage can.
Unknown Speaker 10:37
And that’s about all he says about Manson in the book From what I recall.
Unknown Speaker 10:43
And what is he saying there? In 1975? Written probably in 1973 for 1970. Who knows?
Unknown Speaker 10:51
When he says Uncle sugar, he’s talking about the US government.
Unknown Speaker 10:57
And he calls Charles Manson a program to puppet
Unknown Speaker 11:03
he’s implying
Unknown Speaker 11:06
there was some mind control operation going on here. And look at when this was written. It was literally right after the murders.
Unknown Speaker 11:14
In 1960, boy, I can’t my dad’s rolling over in his grave. I’m failing at Charles Manson trivia. Was it 68 or 69? It was 69 August of 69. Shit. I don’t know.
Unknown Speaker 11:28
Oh, yeah, it says right there. 69. The 1969 Okay, good. We’re back on track. Dad can continue to to rest peacefully in his grave.
Unknown Speaker 11:40
He’s actually he’s actually he cremated and he’s actually up at Barker ranch. True story. True story. If you’re on the Patreon and you comment, and I read enough comments, I’ll tell you the story.
Unknown Speaker 11:52
But
Unknown Speaker 11:55
yeah, there was this this was published right after the murders. Okay. No one was talking about CIA mind control operations. No one was talking about MK Ultra. They only did the FOIA requests for MK Ultra in 1977. Okay.
Unknown Speaker 12:11
And the Senate hearings weren’t till after the FOIA request.
Unknown Speaker 12:16
So this must have that paragraph must have flown over everybody’s head.
Unknown Speaker 12:24
Perhaps that I would argue is why this they deem this book full of dubious claims which may be I don’t know. He was attacking Hollywood he was attacking power structures. As would my A Darren, who I’m going to talk about here soon. Could it be that kind of anger was aware of all the manipulation going on with Hollywood way back then?
Unknown Speaker 12:47
And trying to expose it? He makes claims in the book that Walt Disney was addicted to opiates
Unknown Speaker 12:56
and that’s what goofy the character Goofy is all about is like being all high on dope.
Unknown Speaker 13:01
Allegedly, kind of anger had also claimed to have footage of Walt Disney doing stuff
Unknown Speaker 13:10
or either either doing stuff with cans or having videos of that stuff.
Unknown Speaker 13:16
That was a obviously
Unknown Speaker 13:19
quite a bold claim to make. All right.
Unknown Speaker 13:24
Manson distinct with Manson a little bit longer Manson was linked.
Unknown Speaker 13:31
Because I feel like this is important. Manson was linked to project MK Ultra threw up as an operation chaos or project chaos. In Tom O’Neal’s book chaos. I should do a book club on that. That’s a fact. That’s a fascinating read. I believe his version of events Tom O’Neill, the journalist he was on the case for many many years till he published the book he was on Joe Rogan. That’s kind of why I didn’t didn’t do a book club on it because Joe Rogan interview him for like three hours.
Unknown Speaker 14:02
But he actually doesn’t go through everything. So maybe we should Sunday.
Unknown Speaker 14:07
But anyway, Kenneth anger was actually really close to Charles Manson in terms of six degrees of separation because through Bobby Beausoleil, which we’ll talk about here as well.
Unknown Speaker 14:18
Wikipedia says anger had finished writing Hollywood Babylon three because there’s a second book out there I guess I don’t have that one.
Unknown Speaker 14:27
But did not publish it fearing severe legal repercussions if he does have this he has said quote, the main reason I didn’t bring it out was that I have a whole section on Tom Cruise and the Scientologists I’m not a friend of the Scientologists
Unknown Speaker 14:44
Ain’t that something?
Unknown Speaker 14:47
I mean, there’s there’s an onion to peel back there as well.
Unknown Speaker 14:53
So
Unknown Speaker 14:55
let now let’s talk about some connections to
Unknown Speaker 14:59
Jack
Unknown Speaker 15:00
Parsons Marjorie Cameron, Aleister Crowley, that kind of thing.
Unknown Speaker 15:05
Back in the 40s Kenneth anger met a director named Curtis Harrington
Unknown Speaker 15:12
and it’s alleged that Curtis Harrington is the one that introduced Kenneth angered Aleister Crowley’s works.
Unknown Speaker 15:21
Aleister Crowley was still alive till I believe December of 1947.
Unknown Speaker 15:26
Now, Curtis Harrington was friends with an experimental avant garde filmmaker named Maya, Darren.
Unknown Speaker 15:36
And she in her name is actually given to her. Inspired by the term, the Buddhist term of Maya, which is the illusionary nature of the world. They say we live in the Maya, which is like a fog.
Unknown Speaker 15:51
You can read about that. And what did I read about that?
Unknown Speaker 15:56
Boy, The Four Agreements,
Unknown Speaker 15:58
a Toltec, Aztec priest, or some wrote down, that’s where I first learned about it like, Oh, it’s a lot like simulation theory, right.
Unknown Speaker 16:08
So Maya, Darren, she was one of the first people to use this pretty new medium of film as an experience, which I find myself gravitating towards those kinds of films often okay.
Unknown Speaker 16:22
She was friends with a person named NYAS Ninh, which will plug us back into Cameron and Jack Parsons. If you’ve listened to my three parter
Unknown Speaker 16:33
series on Marjorie Cameron, that I did
Unknown Speaker 16:38
2017 I think then all these names are familiar.
Unknown Speaker 16:44
In on that show, I’ll put the links in the show notes for those episodes, because they’re really good are one of my favorite projects I worked on.
Unknown Speaker 16:53
Ken and in those shows, I talked about how Kenneth anger, met Margaret Cameron and said, I’ve been waiting to meet you for 1000 years, because he wanted her to be his next film star. And I as Ninh was jealous of her and she started talking trash. She said Cameron is the dark spirit of the group. There’s an aura of evil around her
Unknown Speaker 17:14
drama. A cultist drama always right.
Unknown Speaker 17:20
Wikipedia says this of Maya, Darren, let’s go back to that. Wikipedia says in this in the December 1946 issue of Esquire, which I was also featured in once, not to brag in Esquire.
Unknown Speaker 17:35
What was it about? I don’t even remember.
Unknown Speaker 17:38
That doesn’t matter, in that in the December 1946 issue of Esquire, a caption for her photograph teased that she experiments with motion pictures of the subconscious. But here is finite evidence that the lady herself is infinitely photogenic.
Unknown Speaker 17:56
So you got to understand back then back in the 40s 50s 60s, there was a lot of these occult ideas floating around and
Unknown Speaker 18:07
you know, Golden Age of Hollywood stuff of some people trying to implement this into film. And you couldn’t have David Lynch and Twin Peaks without all of this happening.
Unknown Speaker 18:20
So Curtis Harrington and Maya Darren, they would influence David Lynch.
Unknown Speaker 18:25
I’m going to read you straight from Wikipedia.
Unknown Speaker 18:28
In his review for renowned experimental filmmaker David Lynch’s Inland Empire, which by the way, I just bought the blu ray, I haven’t seen it, I’ve never seen it. Because I’m kind of in the camp of if I can’t stream it, I’m not watching it. But now in my little studio, I’ve got a Blu ray player, where I can review movies such as Inland Empire.
Unknown Speaker 18:52
Okay, so LA, blah, blah. In his review of Inland Empire, writer Jim Emerson, compares the work to meshes of the afternoon. Apparently a favorite of David Lynch’s and meshes of the afternoon is a one of these experimental films by Maya Darren. Okay.
Unknown Speaker 19:15
So apparently, David Lynch, it was one of his favorite films. And we’ve got links to Dennis Hopper, which is, you know, linked to Manson hopper and David Lynch. Let’s get into that. Curtis Harrington would be an angers inauguration of the pleasure dome with Marjorie Cameron.
Unknown Speaker 19:36
KENNETH anger was in that too. He played the role of Hakata. Now this film was about Aleister Crowley’s the Lima and the pagan gods the pagan trinity of Osiris ISIS.
Unknown Speaker 19:49
Horus.
Unknown Speaker 19:52
And if you go to Nikolas schreck.com He’s the guy who made the Charles Manson superstar documentary. Actually I pulled this up on an
Unknown Speaker 20:00
archive page
Unknown Speaker 20:03
is he was talking about how Marjorie Cameron would be in Kurdistan in his first film Night tide.
Unknown Speaker 20:11
Which if you saw, I posted the video of my me and Jimmy the jackhammer went out to area 51. To Rachel Nevada, where the little alien is. And if you go to the little alien,
Unknown Speaker 20:28
they have a hidden room full of VHS tapes. And this was a rat. I had already done the Marjorie Cameron shows. So the name Curtis Harrington, and Knight died was in my brain, but you couldn’t find the film anywhere.
Unknown Speaker 20:41
Well, what do you know, I go into this room.
Unknown Speaker 20:45
What’s in there? A copy of night tide. And I put that on the the documentary that I made with Jimmy on my YouTube channel, rockfon channel, all that stuff.
Unknown Speaker 20:58
Okay. And oh, by the way, I saw my first I had my first paranormal experience the other day.
Unknown Speaker 21:08
People are gonna say
Unknown Speaker 21:11
what they want. I was dry. Let me tell you real quick, let’s do a quick sidebar.
Unknown Speaker 21:18
I have to make a note here.
Unknown Speaker 21:20
Because yeah, I can’t believe I didn’t talk about this yet.
Unknown Speaker 21:25
I was driving.
Unknown Speaker 21:28
And I was pulling up to a red light to make a left hand turn. And above my head, maybe 50 yards ahead of me during the day like noon, right?
Unknown Speaker 21:39
Broad daylight, no clouds, about 50 yards ahead of me. And maybe, I don’t know, 1020 yards in the sky, not too high. There’s a bird. And like I said, the the lights turning red. So I’m pulling up to an arty red light is turning red. So I’m slowing down and I look up. And I see this black bird in the sky.
Unknown Speaker 22:04
And it takes maybe two or three seconds of register. But this bird is frozen in the sky. But its wings were flapping.
Unknown Speaker 22:16
And I mean, like I said it takes maybe 234 seconds for to register and I’m trying to like go to a stop and I had the car in front of me and I’m looking at the light and I’m looking at this bird and I think
Unknown Speaker 22:26
that’s really weird. And then they oh my god that birds frozen the sky like you see all these videos online and people have been posting.
Unknown Speaker 22:33
But its wings were flapping. But it was definitely frozen in the sky.
Unknown Speaker 22:39
And I’m pulling on my phone
Unknown Speaker 22:41
trying to activate the video camera.
Unknown Speaker 22:45
And I pull it out and I hit record and I’m looking through the phone’s viewfinder phenomena stop. I’m looking for through the phone to try to find this bird in the sky. And I can’t find it. So I look around the phone kind of the birds completely gone.
Unknown Speaker 23:00
So I hit stop on my phone, put it in my pocket. Now the lights turning green, and I oh my gosh, that was so bizarre.
Unknown Speaker 23:07
I can’t wait to get home until Josie about this. I’m gonna look at the video and see if I caught it. Maybe I caught it and you know, whatever. And I get home. There’s not even a video on my phone. There was nothing on my phone. Not a photo, not a video nothing.
Unknown Speaker 23:25
So
Unknown Speaker 23:27
I you know, and I’m and I’m one of those guys that people tell stories like this. And I’m like, Yeah, but you know, maybe it wasn’t that like I’m pretty skeptical honestly about this kind of stuff. I do believe in all these things. I just, I think sometimes people think they see stuff and it’s like well, maybe there’s an explanation.
Unknown Speaker 23:44
And I get on Reddit and I look it up and I found a Reddit about these birds frozen in the air which you know, I’ve seen those you don’t see 20 with a bird with the wings flapping and some people said some people did find that and they say that birds can stay stationary they show a video of a bird stationary flapping the wings and I don’t know it’s possible that’s what I saw. But there was no wind I was in my st Towson at the top down. My hair wasn’t even messed up. It wasn’t windy that day but now you know 20 yards above me maybe it’s windy up there maybe
Unknown Speaker 24:21
I wish I would have got footage of it I wish but like I said and I even the second part of the paranormal activity was that I filmed it and it it nothing is on my phone no photo no video nothing.
Unknown Speaker 24:33
I mean, I could see how I accidentally activated the photo instead of the video maybe many more
Unknown Speaker 24:40
scary ghost stories right? So that was really bizarre.
Unknown Speaker 24:46
Just like me finding a copy of nighttime it’s a little alien right after I was talking about it on the Marjorie Cameron shows.
Unknown Speaker 24:54
So where was I?
Unknown Speaker 24:57
Okay, so Marjorie Cameron is in Kurdistan regions for
Unknown Speaker 25:00
film Night tide. Quick primer Marjorie Cameron is the woman that Jack Parsons manifested into the world to bring about the AON of Horus supposedly huge. They were supposed to make sexy time produced the Antichrist.
Unknown Speaker 25:15
That’s the short version.
Unknown Speaker 25:18
I’m actually going to be walking Josie through Jack Parsons on breaking social norms already released part one, I’m going to do a part two here soon. Part three, sorry. Anyway, I’m not sure where that’s gonna go. We might wrap it up shorter, because, you know, this is the show where we’d get into the occult stuff as the show where you know, it’s me trying to talk to a Normie about occult stuff. So, you know, might go too deep.
Unknown Speaker 25:43
All right now.
Unknown Speaker 25:47
Okay, so, nighttime also starred Dennis Hopper, he was the main star of that movie, who was
Unknown Speaker 25:56
I was able to find nighttime and watch it on somewhere at some point, so I’ve seen the movie, and there’s symbolism of I believe it was a 77, which is the number of Babylon.
Unknown Speaker 26:11
That’s in the film. Anyway.
Unknown Speaker 26:14
Dennis Hopper was apparently friends with JC ring, who was one of the people that he was the hairstylist at the CLO Dr. House friends with Sharon Tate. He was also murdered that night.
Unknown Speaker 26:26
So Dennis Hopper was friends with JC ring, and apparently he had visited Charles Manson in prison because he was going to be Charles Manson in a film proposed in 1970. About the murders.
Unknown Speaker 26:39
And of course, Dennis Hopper would later be in David Lynch’s Blue Velvet, which Blue Velvet was the predecessor to Twin Peaks. Blue Velvet takes place in Lumberton, about a lumber town
Unknown Speaker 26:53
and so on.
Unknown Speaker 26:56
And Curtis hewerdine had a signed copy of Aleister Crowley’s book of Thoth which he got from Jane Wolf.
Unknown Speaker 27:03
Which Jane wolf Oh man, what Jane? Well, was Jane with Palin around with Jack Parsons, or no she was she was a filly might have Aleister Crowley’s and she was palling around with Parsons, I believe, because she believed that Parsons was in fact going to be this big to do Antichrist figure
Unknown Speaker 27:22
to bring about the AON of Horus.
Unknown Speaker 27:26
Now, Kenneth, anger of course, was into the Lima he was oto De Lima. He was an Aleister Crowley for sure, right? I’m gonna read you from Wikipedia.
Unknown Speaker 27:36
angers interest in the occult deepened in high school, he first indirectly encountered the subject through reading L. Frank Baum’s Oz books as a child with their accompanying Rosicrucian philosophies. He was also interested in the works of French ceremonial magician LFS, lovey as well as Sir James Fraser’s the golden bow. Although his favorite writings were Crowley’s, he eventually converted to Zulema the religion Crowley founded. So here we go. Another link to Wizard of Oz. Which we just did three massive episodes on wisdom no four, because I did Return to Oz. Two, which I think is only on the supporter feeds. Maybe, maybe not. I don’t know. I don’t remember.
Unknown Speaker 28:23
And of course, David Lynch said there’s not a day that goes by that he doesn’t think about Wizard of Oz.
Unknown Speaker 28:30
Because he was in fact, there’s a documentary called Lynch Oz, which I get to get my grubby hands on. Because you can’t get it without a what you call like a region to disc player.
Unknown Speaker 28:43
Jonathan Johnny Woodward. Woodard Sorry, sorry Johnny butchered your last name their shot that Johnny from the tinfoil hat broken soon. Because he got a copy of Lynch oz.
Unknown Speaker 28:57
A man What am I going to do? There’s also the golden bow was it came up with all those I reading.
Unknown Speaker 29:05
Gosh, too many too much research going on over here.
Unknown Speaker 29:10
Someone was heavily influenced by the golden bow. Um,
Unknown Speaker 29:15
man, I lost it. Sorry.
Unknown Speaker 29:18
Moving on. Yeah. Anyway, so Dennis Hopper was also in Kenneth anger. Scorpio rising.
Unknown Speaker 29:27
Was that right?
Unknown Speaker 29:29
Man, sorry, I’m a mess today. But Scorpio rising was like a gay biker film. And in Scorpio rising.
Unknown Speaker 29:38
In Scorpio rising they use the
Unknown Speaker 29:43
they use the song Blue Velvet, which, you know, inspired No, Dennis Hopper was not in.
Unknown Speaker 29:53
He was not in Scorpio rising.
Unknown Speaker 29:58
Oh, no, no, I’m sorry. In my notes.
Unknown Speaker 30:00
Sorry sometimes my notes are a little butchered. Okay, so Kenneth anger filmed Scorpio rising a very gay biker film.
Unknown Speaker 30:08
And in that film, he uses the song Blue Velvet. Then David Lynch, of course would go on, what 20 3040 years later and film, Blue Velvet.
Unknown Speaker 30:21
So just another Lintian connection, right.
Unknown Speaker 30:24
KENNETH anger was also friends with Alfred Kinsey, the sexologist. And, and I think Alfred Kinsey was the one who
Unknown Speaker 30:36
came up with a theory that everybody is on a scale a spectrum of hetero homo.
Unknown Speaker 30:43
Which I believe that I believe that wholeheartedly likes it because some people are bisexual, some people are homosexual.
Unknown Speaker 30:52
In fact,
Unknown Speaker 30:54
man, what was the film he was in?
Unknown Speaker 30:58
I’m talking on breaking social norms. I talk we’re gonna talk about Alfred Kinsey, because a lot of people want Josie to talk about
Unknown Speaker 31:06
the morning movies. And I know there’s a movie about Alfred Kinsey that is on that list, because I’ve seen it.
Unknown Speaker 31:13
Anyway Kinzie and anger became friends and they went over to Corfu, Italy to where Aleister Crowley’s notorious Abbey of Thelema was where they did a bunch of rituals, allegedly were sacrificing animals and even a baby there was a rumor that he sacrificed a baby and that’s what made
Unknown Speaker 31:36
his the fascist dictator Mussolini kick Crowley out of his country.
Unknown Speaker 31:42
All right, and they made a documentary called the Lima Abbey.
Unknown Speaker 31:47
I’ll put a photo on Instagram of these two hanging out over there at the Abbey. Now kind of anger was also friends with Anton LaVey, the founder of The Church of Satan.
Unknown Speaker 31:58
So much so that Kenneth anger is the godfather of Xena Shrek that’s Anton’s daughter, aka Taylor Swift
Unknown Speaker 32:10
because he looks as Legger
Unknown Speaker 32:12
and he was friends with a lot of prominent occult figures or people who have a cult sway. Marianne faithful which ties into Mick Jagger, Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin and so on.
Unknown Speaker 32:28
Now, we talked about Kenneth anger many, many times in the past, he’s in damn near every book I’ve written. There’s a mention of Kenneth anger.
Unknown Speaker 32:36
Because his films,
Unknown Speaker 32:39
like I argue, are like all films. They are rituals. There’s a quote I found from an article on the complete Magic Lantern cycle, about Kenneth anger and it says this.
Unknown Speaker 32:52
All his films have been evocations or invocations, which refers to either channeling energies outside you or manifesting energies from within you. Right, EXO versus Eno, I guess.
Unknown Speaker 33:08
Attempting to conjure primal forces, which wants visually released are designed to have the effect of casting a spell on the audience. The magic in the film is related to the magical effects of the film on the audience. So that’s the you know, it’s the crux of all the theories we talk about over and over.
Unknown Speaker 33:26
And I agree 100% With this, right. And art is very influential. It’s like I talked about this when Prince died, right?
Unknown Speaker 33:37
Because I like Prince. I love Prince. I don’t love every Prince song and I find his lot of his albums. When you listen to the album version of the song. It just goes on and on and on. Like it’s too foggy. He’s just too funky. But I liked the radio versions of the songs. But he’s an amazing artist right.
Unknown Speaker 33:55
Now, shout out to hater rotti
Unknown Speaker 33:59
I need to get him back on the show. I know he’s busy though. He’s working on some badass Las Vegas documentaries. I know that account excited to see it. I love documentaries. And I love Las Vegas. And I love hate harati so shout out
Unknown Speaker 34:18
where What the hell was I talking about?
Unknown Speaker 34:22
Sorry, my brain is scrambled today, folks.
Unknown Speaker 34:26
I completely lost it. Anyway. I guess we’re moving on.
Unknown Speaker 34:31
But we were talking about the magical effects of film on the audience. And I believe that I believe that art influences life. Oh, yeah, Prince cool. There we go. I knew I could get back folks. Prince when he died. I was really sad.
Unknown Speaker 34:48
I had a little I cried a little bit me and Josie we went to Wendover it was like the day that he died or the day after day after we went to this. There’s this shithole town on the border of Nevada and Utah.
Unknown Speaker 35:00
cuz it’s in Utah, we live in what you call a borderline fastest, theocracy. Right? The Mormons run this place, and they won’t let us gamble, which is fine, I get it right. There’s a balance to be had of adults pursuing hedonistic desires, versus having a nice, clean, safe community. And Utah chooses nice, safe, clean community, which is great. I love living in a safe community.
Unknown Speaker 35:30
But the funny thing is, everyone has to drive to either Idaho or Nevada to buy lotto tickets and Nevada, they build this border town called Wendover, which is just a little tiny town. It’s actually pretty cool. I wouldn’t go there if you’re not if you’re not from Utah, and it’s not within a two hour drive. I don’t know if it’s worth your time. But it’s pretty cool. I like Wendover they got a fun strip club, it’s great. When you want to when you want to just
Unknown Speaker 35:59
get away for a minute. It’s a great weekend kind of town.
Unknown Speaker 36:03
If you don’t want to go all the way to Las Vegas.
Unknown Speaker 36:08
Anyway, yeah, we drove to went over. And I remember I remember I had a tear when Prince died, which it was a little bit unlike me.
Unknown Speaker 36:15
And that’s when the gravity of art hit me. And people say, you know, I wasn’t sad because Prince died because I knew prince, I don’t know, maybe he was a total scumbag. Maybe he was a jerk. Like these guys are full of ego anyway, right? And who can blame them, they get treated like gods.
Unknown Speaker 36:35
So it wasn’t like I mourn the loss of princes, if I was friends with a guy,
Unknown Speaker 36:40
I mourn the loss
Unknown Speaker 36:42
of the sadness of a guy who made me feel something. And that’s what aren’t supposed to do. It’s supposed to make you feel something, it’s supposed to make you think of something. It’s supposed to induce something onto the viewer.
Unknown Speaker 36:58
And that’s why people get really wrapped up in worshipping these artists. They don’t know who these people are.
Unknown Speaker 37:07
The artist has no idea who the people are that worship them like gods. But it makes you feel something. And that’s what you mourn because you’re like man, you know, Prince has been with me through a lot over the years, a soundtrack to my life as it were.
Unknown Speaker 37:23
And that’s what art does, right. And that’s why it’s such an amazing and powerful medium.
Unknown Speaker 37:29
And the occult does know this, right?
Unknown Speaker 37:33
They know this.
Unknown Speaker 37:35
So Kenneth anger, he shows you rituals on the film, he shows you magic symbolism. And here’s an example. There’s a film called Lucifer rising, and I’ll put the photo on Instagram, again, at Isaac Weishaupt blog and subscribe.
Unknown Speaker 37:50
in Kabbalah, they’re these Jewish mystics, and they participate in a mikvah, which is a bath of purity for the soul. And they use it to rid the body of evil, because and here’s where things get dicey, because some people listen to this show. And they’re hardcore Christian warriors. And then they want to hear about who were all the baddies worshipping Lucifer. Right. And that’s one perspective.
Unknown Speaker 38:16
And sometimes I think that way, and sometimes I don’t, the other perspective is you’ve got the people that are in the new age, occult type ideas. And they listen, because these are interesting topics. And they like to elaborate on some of these ideas.
Unknown Speaker 38:30
Well, the truth is, that even in Gnosticism, they believe in light and dark, right.
Unknown Speaker 38:38
And the early Christians, they suppressed Gnosticism as a heresy.
Unknown Speaker 38:43
And you could get into the nuts and bolts of what the Gnostics believe, and you can find out as very much different than what modern day Christianity believes.
Unknown Speaker 38:55
But they also believe in light and dark and good and evil, and they also want to get rid of evil. So there’s common ground to be had there. There really is.
Unknown Speaker 39:05
And like I always say, it’s like, I don’t care which path you choose, because I certainly don’t know the answer I battle and I struggle between which one of these paths I want to go down? I don’t really know. It’s hard to know.
Unknown Speaker 39:19
But that’s a bigger topic for a bigger show.
Unknown Speaker 39:23
But
Unknown Speaker 39:25
But yeah, these catalysts they use this Baffert route to purge the body of evil, they do like some fasting and preparation for it. They remove all the jewelry and their clothes to get into the bath, obviously, which makes you think of Kim Kardashian when they put her in the bathtub, and then Kanye had the breakdown afterward.
Unknown Speaker 39:43
But you can see this depicted in his movie Lucifer rising, so he’s very much directly showing it to you sometimes, because as we’ve already ascertained, this is a guy who just don’t give enough, right is like I’ll write a book about everything I see. Called you haters out there.
Unknown Speaker 40:01
Now there’s a documentary
Unknown Speaker 40:04
on Kenneth anger, it’s it’s in German language, I think was on the BBC. It’s hard to tell it’s foreign language with a lot of subtitles. I saw it on YouTube, I’ll give you a link to it in the show notes. But Kenneth anger says that he chooses people to be in his films based upon their elemental powers to represent demons or angels. He chooses them by astrological signs, and he talks about how the camera is his wand. So that is very, that’s that’s all in the first 10 minutes
Unknown Speaker 40:38
later, it talks about using magic over mysticism because to him magic is action. Whereas mysticism is withdraw from action.
Unknown Speaker 40:48
No.
Unknown Speaker 40:51
But I’ll put the link in the show notes for that as well. And you can always retrieve the shownotes at Illuminati watchdog calm if you don’t see it on your app.
Unknown Speaker 41:00
We’ve talked about kind of hangers so many times over the years.
Unknown Speaker 41:04
There’s a bonus show we did in April 22. On Eyes Wide Shut part seven, about Larison salona. Jeffrey Epstein.
Unknown Speaker 41:15
And
Unknown Speaker 41:19
there’s a lot of I mean, I don’t know how deep to go into this, right. I mean, this is a whole topic we’ll get into but
Unknown Speaker 41:27
but he was mentioned there, because of Bobby Beausoleil, because Bobby Beausoleil was God, I don’t know how to do this besides going deep deeper into it.
Unknown Speaker 41:40
But yeah, Stanley Kubrick was very much in the same vein of kind of anger in the sense of inducing a feeling and maybe symbolism in the subconscious.
Unknown Speaker 41:51
And this guy, Larry salona,
Unknown Speaker 41:54
there was a flight log, where
Unknown Speaker 41:58
they claimed the Larry salona this journalist was on the Lolita Express now, I don’t know.
Unknown Speaker 42:06
But the the screenplay of Eyes Wide Shut was written by Frederic Raphael
Unknown Speaker 42:15
and the original password. This is going to blow your mind. The original password to the orgy was not going to be Fidelio.
Unknown Speaker 42:28
It was going to be oz. Yes, oz.
Unknown Speaker 42:33
So there could be a connection there with bloodbaths keys theosophy because l Frank Baum was obviously a member of that, as you heard on my Wizard of Oz shows. And Aleister Crowley because Aleister Crowley wrote book 77 which was libre Oz,
Unknown Speaker 42:49
which is all about the man’s new religion of the Lima had all the phrases do what thou wilt shall be the whole law. Every man and woman is a star, which is kind of angers Hollywood Babylon,
Unknown Speaker 43:02
full of social Darwinist satanist ideas, like man has the right to kill those who would thwart these rights. You know, because it was always you should be able to do what you want to do kind of thing.
Unknown Speaker 43:15
But Bobby Beausoleil, he was in a rock band called The magical powerhouse of Oz.
Unknown Speaker 43:22
Okay, because he was recruited by Kenneth anger to be in this magical bowels of Oz band in Lucifer rising and that’s how, that’s how it came up in that show.
Unknown Speaker 43:36
Now, we also talked about kind of anger in a TMZ episode last year, we talked about Rolling Stones
Unknown Speaker 43:47
Ronnie Wood, his ex Joe Wood said she had alien blood.
Unknown Speaker 43:54
She said I’m sure they’re among us. I might have had a few boyfriends that were aliens. A psychic once told me I had alien blood in me. So you never know.
Unknown Speaker 44:03
She had seen a bunch of UFOs when she was hanging out on the tour with the Rolling Stones. Which makes sense. Because Mick Jagger was messing around with Kenneth anger at the time. Mick Jagger did the score for invocation of my demon brother, kind of or a kind of anger film.
Unknown Speaker 44:21
He was supposed to play the role of Lucifer and Lucifer rising.
Unknown Speaker 44:25
Because his girlfriend his ex girlfriend, Mary unfaithful was a witch. She was super into Kenneth anger,
Unknown Speaker 44:31
but then ultimately happened. And that’s when Mick Jagger was like, Oh, no messing around. But none of those are called stuff anymore because he got bugged out right.
Unknown Speaker 44:43
Kind of anger was also in an episode of Ghost Adventures. There was a episode about the Westerfield house
Unknown Speaker 44:51
that Canada was living in, in San Francisco.
Unknown Speaker 44:56
And it’s, it’s said that Bobby bone
Unknown Speaker 45:00
Beausoleil was at that house. When Kenneth anger was making invocation of my demon brother while he was living there. There was a photo of him in front of the Westerfield with a sign that says do with that will paint it in what kind of looks like blood. I’ll put the photo of that on the Instagram as well. If you go to hoodline.com they have an article it says Charles Manson used to visit the house. And that’s where he hooked up with Bobby Beausoleil, which raises questions of what he was doing there.
Unknown Speaker 45:31
And it was probably it was just one of these wild 60s flop houses where people were doing all kinds of crazy stuff everywhere.
Unknown Speaker 45:38
Anton LaVey also went to the Westerfield house, you can find I think to this day, there’s still claw marks from a tiger that he used to take in there because he used to be into the circus stuff, right.
Unknown Speaker 45:50
And they used to allegedly, they sat on the top floor, they would they would look out this view. And they would see you evolves all the time, because they were constantly messing around with the paranormal
Unknown Speaker 46:04
kind of thing or was also mentioned in my very first book of grand unified conspiracy theory that you can get for free if you go to Illuminati watchdog calm and sign up for my free email newsletter, not the VIP section that’s totally different. I have an email list and just for signing up, I will give you a copy of my first book.
Unknown Speaker 46:23
Because in that book, he I mentioned how he was chummy with James Franco. James Franco had a band called Daddy.
Unknown Speaker 46:32
And they made a video called Love in the old days that actually depicted a ritual which obviously that’s very Kenneth anger, ish.
Unknown Speaker 46:42
And then James Franco, Kenneth anger actor Newt Sear from Twilight, they all did an actual occult ritual in Los Angeles one time.
Unknown Speaker 46:53
True story.
Unknown Speaker 46:56
So now you see how James Franco would later go on to be in the Wizard of Oz sort of remakes, right? Not remakes, but what would you call those? Anyway? You know what I mean?
Unknown Speaker 47:10
Small World right?
Unknown Speaker 47:14
I mentioned kind of anger in Use Your Illusion one my book on Aliens UFOs in the occult.
Unknown Speaker 47:20
As previously, I’m going to read you from as pre because look, I like to make sure you don’t have to buy everything. You know what I mean? I make all these products I put my blood sweat and tears into them. But that’s okay.
Unknown Speaker 47:33
I’m gonna read it right for you so you don’t have to buy it. What a guy as previously mentioned the Mavs zone. There’s some more Twin Peaks for you because they go into the Mavs zone and Twin Peaks.
Unknown Speaker 47:45
As previously mentioned, the mom zone is the dark side on the capitalistic tree of life. Where Aleister Crowley acolyte Kenneth grant, not to be confused with Kenneth anger, asserts artistic impulses are derived. Another follower of Crowley was Kenneth anger.
Unknown Speaker 48:02
A film director known for smashing cultural norms in the 50s and 60s with various films. blase blah. Anger put Cameron in that role for good reason he subscribed to the beliefs of Crowley’s dilemma and thought she was in fact channeled by Parsons as the Babylonian force to usher in a new age, kind of anger envisioned a war on the astral plane between Lucifer and his fallen angels on the side of the 60s love generation, versus the oppressive traditionalists on the other side of Christianity. And an almost prophetic analogy to the dangers of this new religion. Artists and NYAS nyn played the role of a star to a inauguration of the pleasure dome. She described the climax of the film as follows. Love became hatred. Ecstasy became a nightmare.
Unknown Speaker 48:54
Kind of anger also directed a film called Lucifer rising, which had quite a reputation. It was inspired by Crowley’s him to Lucifer, which portrayed Lucifer as the rebel archetype to be revered as the spirit of a true artist. Anger infamously dubbed Manson Family murderer Bobby Beausoleil as the role of Lucifer but settled on Beausoleil performing the soundtrack. After he became incarcerated for the murder of Gary Hinman
Unknown Speaker 49:19
anger shifted gears and chose Mick Jagger for the role of Lucifer which he would later decline after the dark energies of Altamont, and so on right.
Unknown Speaker 49:31
And the film itself culminates with a magical incantation of Lucifer, which results in UFOs, flying over Luxor, Egypt, anger said he intended the film to be a ritual marking of the death of Judaism and Christianity, and the ascension of the nihilistic age of Lucifer.
Unknown Speaker 49:49
So,
Unknown Speaker 49:51
in conclusion, we went through a lot of candidate anger stuff here.
Unknown Speaker 49:55
The guy made it the 96 years old. That’s a pretty good run. All right.
Unknown Speaker 50:02
But you can see how he is one of the architects, for the theories we’ve been talking about all these years that I’ve written all the books that I’ll be talking about with Twin Peaks.
Unknown Speaker 50:15
The idea of speaking to the subconscious, implanting symbols, messages and ideas.
Unknown Speaker 50:22
All right.
Unknown Speaker 50:25
Now to me, a lot of people, they get upset and this lot of Christian wars, they’ll get upset and say, well, dammit, Isaac, their plan Luciferian messages, how could you possibly watch this stuff or talk about it? And I get that that is a perspective. And that doesn’t go by me unfazed.
Unknown Speaker 50:42
But I’m an open minded truther. To my core. And one idea that exists, is that what if these guys are right? What if Christianity is a control system?
Unknown Speaker 50:56
I tend to not go down that path too often. Oftentimes, what I think is, you know, I think Christ is the light, I think Christ is God.
Unknown Speaker 51:07
If there’s a oppression or false system to be had from Christianity, it would have to come from the organized religion aspect. If, right, because all these different possibilities exist before me. And I’m constantly always thinking of the different ideas of where this could lead.
Unknown Speaker 51:25
I feel like Lucifer would be the deceiver. I
Unknown Speaker 51:29
feel like that’s expressed many, many times in the Christian faith.
Unknown Speaker 51:34
The question is, is the organized religion aspect of Christianity? You know, the ones that
Unknown Speaker 51:41
the cover up for these priests touching the kids, like, what do you call that? Because here’s the thing st exist on this material realm. And he tries to deceive us in so many ways. And all I do know, is that if what we’re doing and what we’re pursuing,
Unknown Speaker 51:59
puts us in a higher state of consciousness towards love, and living a more blessed life. Like that’s the right path. I don’t know what that looks like. I don’t know if that’s doing a cult yoga with a new age guru Luciferian. Master? I don’t know if that’s going to church every Sunday and paying my tithing.
Unknown Speaker 52:23
I don’t know if it’s somewhere in between those. I really don’t. It’s it’s a it’s a tough situation. And I would say that if there’s someone out there that tells you exactly what the right answer is, they haven’t thought about hard enough.
Unknown Speaker 52:36
You know,
Unknown Speaker 52:38
I just know that if, if, if my art will say is to manifest some ideas into your subconscious, it would be like I want to make the world a better place, a happier place. And I feel like a lot of fighting and division
Unknown Speaker 52:57
just doesn’t help with any of it. I don’t know what the right answer is.
Unknown Speaker 53:01
Okay. And I just think that some of these, I think that these occult concepts are fascinating to me, but um, I always say it I’m like a moth drawn to the flame. You know what I mean? Like bein I was born in the darkness. I’m naturally drawn to a lot of this stuff, but the fact that I always come back to Christ and I haven’t gone full, nihilistic atheist Luciferian like, that tells me something I don’t know what it is.
Unknown Speaker 53:32
But you know, I don’t judge other people. I really don’t I say I don’t care. I don’t think that’s the right term. It’s that I don’t keep myself up at night with what other people believe some people are on the same page as me. I would argue a lot of people are I feel like a lot of honest truth or types, old school truther types on the same page as me where it’s hard to know it’ll drive you mad trying to figure out what the right path is because it is hard. It’s the unseen realm.
Unknown Speaker 54:00
I just know there’s something there. So okay, there’s all that I got off my soapbox. If you want to join me in the Twin Peaks journey, you still got time join me in the gray Lodge.
