The singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey released her 30-minute short film Tropico and it revolves around her and a male model (Shaun Ross) playing the roles of Adam & Eve who eventually get thrusted into Los Angeles after partaking of the apple of sin and getting booted from the Garden of Eve.
The film is actually done quite well, I enjoyed its dark imagery and religious overtones, but there really isn’t much by way of Illuminati symbolism unless you want to count the entire religious/afterlife plot. The film puts up a dismal view of the Earthly-material world which seems to be about right (especially if you believe David Icke and his theories on this holographic universe we live in that is secretly controlled by the Archon-shape shifting reptilians). The couple was living in a blissful world of the Garden of Eve with Jesus Christ, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis, until they get stuck in the ‘Garden of Evil’ known as L.A.I feel that the choice of American icons is her way of expressing the worship of pop culture in America and the influence it has over us. We elevate the celebrities to the status of gods so that they’re right up there with Jesus.
After the descent, the Adam character is stuck sitting behind a retail counter while Eve (Lana Del Rey) is working the stripper pole; both looking miserable as hell and unable to find happiness. I don’t know if anyone caught this, but the little bodega store that Adam is stuck at gets visited by some thug-types and the one guy appears to have a tattoo of the Tower of Babel on his back (or maybe it’s a snake? Hard to tell):
The Tower of Babel was destroyed by God when he disapproved of the occult-Pagan worship the people were performing on it. They were trying to elevate themselves to the status/level of God with the zig-zag pyramid that reached the skies. At the beginning of Tropico there is also a unicorn in the Garden of Eden (alongside of Elvis, et.al.), so maybe the two tie together since the unicorn horn is a symbol for the Tower of Babel with its twisting shape:
I go into further detail on the unicorn-Babel-Moloch connection in the Occult & Illuminati holiday traditions post.
Somehow by the end of the film they ascend into the heavens after they find that the only thing that makes them happy is the love for one another and the beauty of God’s Earth.
Of course, this is all from my dumb-assed perspective. I actually don’t know if Lana Del Rey believes in God or not, her Wiki says she is really into the metaphysical and finding a link between God and science, so take that for what it’s worth. Here’s what she said in a PrefixMag interview:
You’ve sang in church choirs and wear a cross in promo photos. Is your faith something that you want people to associate with your music?
I don’t really think that my faith is something I planned on people associating with my music. Although I did sing in church choirs when I was little, it was more because it was a small town and that was what you did. The faith that I have now doesn’t really come from organized religion. That’s such a hippie answer. But it comes via my own experiences in life, praying my way through hard times. It’s my understanding of a universal power. I’m not sure how much of it comes from the church. I do wear a cross but it’s because I like the image of it. I guess all of those points together might culminate into a sort of type you might think I’d be but they’re kind of just coincidences
But, I’ve got to mention the Illuminati symbolism that she seems to have given us elsewhere. This includes a GQ photo shoot from October 2012 with the All Seeing Eye:
She’s working on a new album that she is calling Ultra-Violence (no doubt a reference to the Stanley Kubrick A Clockwork Orange film; Kubrick has his own entanglements with the Illuminati as well) and she had some peculiar description of how she gains her inspiration for the material. From RollingStone:
“When people ask me about it, I just have to be honest — I really don’t know. I don’t want to say, ‘Yeah, definitely — the next one’s better than this one,’ because I don’t really hear a next one. My muse is very fickle. She only comes to me sometimes, which is annoying.”
So is she trying to tell us that she pulls power from a muse, or spirit? Is this like the alter-egos we see from so many Illuminati-affiliated artists such as Beyonce (Sasha Fierce), Nicki Minaj (Roman Polanski), Eminem (Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers), etc.? The conspiracy theorists claim that these artists are exposed to brainwashing techniques (a.k.a. MK ULTRA) that include dissociative identity disorder which fractures the internal thought process. It’s uses some kind of traumatic event to trigger a different ‘alter’ or personality. I go into further detail on this concept in my book A Grand Unified Conspiracy Theory: The Illuminati, Ancient Aliens, and Pop Culture:
Chapter 3- Illuminati Influences in the Entertainment Industry
Illuminati Infiltration, Fabian Society, Mind Control Techniques, Destruction of Empathy, Nazi Olympic Games Occult Symbolism, Illuminati Music Connections and Symbolism, MK ULTRA and Alter Egos, Reason for Predictive Programming and Examples
Another example of how the entertainment industry has the ability to affect us would be to consider trauma based mind control. This is the technique used in the C.I.A.’s MK ULTRA experiments that used young children (ages 5 to 10) and subjected them to significant trauma so they learned to dissociate. Dissociation is when the mind breaks information into little chambers like a honeycomb in order to hide these little fragments of trauma to prevent the conscious mind from experiencing this pain. They take these self-contained fragments, called “alters” and use a “front alter” which sets the personality that interfaces with the normal world.
