Paul Curtis, the ricin letter composer had conspiracy theory of his own…

UPDATE: Paul Curtis was cleared of all charges, but please feel free to read on about his conspiracy theory about the body parts. And also, the case has taken a weird twist with a new suspect:

Investigators already had another man in their sights, and, according to an FBI affidavit, were collecting physical evidence against this second suspect. It was beginning to look as if Curtis had been framed.

More to come on that as it unfolds.

Here’s the original post:

Paul Kevin Curtis was arrested as the man charged with sending the ricin laced letters to President Obama and Senator Wicker. He had this idea that there was a conspiracy to sell human body parts that the government was involved with.

CBSNews reports:

Paul Kevin Curtis, 45, believed he uncovered a conspiracy to sell human body parts on the black market and claimed “various parties within the government” were trying to ruin his reputation. He was arrested at his home in Corinth, near the Tennessee state line.

Multiple online posts on various websites under the name Kevin Curtis refer to the conspiracy he claimed to uncover when working at a local hospital from 1998 to 2000.

The author wrote the conspiracy that began when he “discovered a refrigerator full of dismembered body parts & organs wrapped in plastic in the morgue of the largest non-metropolitan healthcare organization in the United States of America.”

Curtis wrote that he was trying to “expose various parties within the government, FBI, police departments” for what he believed was “a conspiracy to ruin my reputation in the community as well as an ongoing effort to break down the foundation I worked more than 20 years to build in the country music scene.”

In one post, Curtis said he sent letters to Wicker and other politicians.

“I never heard a word from anyone. I even ran into Roger Wicker several different times while performing at special banquets and fundraisers in northeast, Mississippi but he seemed very nervous while speaking with me and would make a fast exit to the door when I engaged in conversation…”

He signed off: “This is Kevin Curtis & I approve this message.”

The FBI said there was no indication of a connection between the letters and the Monday bombing in Boston that killed three people and injured more than 170. The letters to Obama and Wicker were postmarked April 8, before the marathon.

To be totally inappropriate, I have to admit that his last message in the letters is ironically funny because he obviously did it as a jab at politics in general. Saying “I approve this message” is obviously a reference to the end of political campaign commercials, which I’m sure we can all agree are distasteful and overwhelming during election campaign cycles.

The post said he was an Elvis impersonator, and ran a cleaning business, which somehow got him into this weird conspiracy theory about the organs.

As mentioned, he was on Facebook spouting various forms of this conspiracy (check it out, you can look at his photos, he has some odd ones on there, apparently he had a thing for big breasted women?…). He seemed to follow a woman named Estelle Kohn because he has a post all about her life and death, which maybe triggered him to do the letters??…:

Estelle S. Kohn
May 2, 1953 – April 10, 2013

Estelle Kohn was dedicated to and passionate about educating the public on whistleblower protection issues. She served as the Deputy Director of the National Whistleblower Center and the National Whistleblower Legal Defense and Education Fund for the last ten years. In this role she built a world-renowned public education program that includes a highly respected public interest student intern program that brings over 60 students each year to Washington, D.C., to work with experienced licensed attorneys in the field of whistleblower law and advocacy.

Ms. Kohn was also instrumental in the development and coordination of the NWC’s educational seminars that have been held throughout the United States. In addition, she established a program with the U.S. State Department in which international delegations visit the NWC to learn about U.S. whistleblower protection laws as they try to develop whistleblower protections in their own countries. Ms. Kohn also ran the NWC Speaker’s Bureau, which sent speakers around the world to educate the public on whistleblower protection issues.

Ms. Kohn also oversaw the NWLDEF’s Attorney Referral Service. In this role she worked directly with thousands of whistleblowers to help find experienced whistleblower attorneys to represent them.

Estelle Kohn was also a loving daughter, devoted sister and dedicated friend. She will be missed greatly by all who were fortunate enough to have known and worked with her.

Always so true, unselfish and kind.

Few in this world are equal to find;

A beautiful life that came to an end.

She died, as she lived

Everyone’s friend.

This particular Facebook page offers up lots of paranoia:

I’m on the hidden front lines of a secret war. A war that is making Billions of dollars for corrupt mafia related organizations and people. (bone, tissue, organ, body parts harvesting black market) when we lay our loved ones to rest….we hope and pray their bodies are not violated but I am here to tell you, as long as the bone, tissue & organ harvesting indu$try is NOT REGULATED….on any level(s) whether it be local, state, federal or national………..your loved ones body parts are NOT $AFE. It’s not fun for me to be the Me$$enger here. It was not fun in 1999 when I made accidental discovery and became a “Person of interest”.

My mother wants me to SHUT UP. My brothers fear me. My sister hates me. My cousins have hostility towards me (they work in healthcare) I have lost most of my friends. I have spent more than $130,000.00 on legal fee’s in 13.5 yrs. They burned down my home, killed my dogs, my cat, my rabbit, blew up my 1966 Plymouth Valent. They destroyed my marriage, they distracted my career, they stalked, they trolled, they came in to my home, took my computers, had me arrested 22 times and guess what? I am still a thorn in their corrupt anals! I will remain here until Jesus Christ decides its time for me to go. (ur welcome and amen. 🙂

Here is a link to his weird diatribe on his ‘Missing Pieces’ article:

He’s got weird documents and photos on there too, that apparently link up to his conspiracy theory of what I’m thinking was simply a morgue:

Let the record show that on this date, March 05, 2008, I, Paul Kevin Curtis, being of sound mind, am attempting once again to expose various parties within the government, FBI, police departments, legal & healthcare systems, etc. that a conspiracy to ruin my reputation in the community as well as an ongoing effort to break down the foundation I worked more than 20 years to build in the country music scene, began on the day I accidentally discovered a refrigerator full of dismembered body parts & organs wrapped in plastic in the morgue of the largest non-metropolitan healthcare organization in the United States of America, AKA

North Mississippi Medical Center where I was employed from 1998 until March of 2000.

The purpose of this online documentary of photos, police reports, as well as my 1st & only online petition, publications & events surrounding my life & the actions of what I believe to be that of a secret shadow government in which I feel have been put into place by higher powers to be in order to hide the truth behind the illegal organ harvesting market which I began investigating in 2000 after being “banned” for life for simply questioning the hospital administration on what they did with so many dismembered body parts?

What am I hoping to accomplish?

  1. I would like a qualified & experienced attorney with no affiliation with the Tupelo hospital, WTVA News Station, Tupelo Daily Journal, Wizard 106 Radio, or any employee’s or persons affiliated with said parties to look over the 7 year paper trail, photos and events I have collected & documented & then be given a fair trial by jury once and for all. There is no statute of limitation on illegal court proceedings and obstruction of justice (even in Mississippi)
  2. A public apology by the CEO of the North Mississippi Medical Center & the opportunity to clear my name, character & overall reputation within the community and country by hosting a public Q & A towns meeting to be broadcasted via radio & television stations.
  3. I would like to have my book “Missing Pieces” published by a reputable publishing company so that I may pack my things and move as far away from Mississippi as any human being could before I disappear, or as a high profile Mississippi attorney joked with me one night when he said “If I were you, I’d be scared I’d be thrown into the Mississippi river one night with a pair of cement boots on”!

Here’s some images and video of this guy from DailyMail‘s article:
