NBA Basketball Player Kyrie Irving, the Illuminati, and the Flat Earth Theory

Hi, my name is Isaac Weishaupt and you’re on your home for decoding conspiracy theories in entertainment!

Today I’ll delve into something I know nothing about- sports!

Truth be told, I used to be obsessed with sports when I was a teenager (back in the ’90s). Once I got my drivers license and some wheels I never looked back; finding much more exciting things to focus my attention on.

Today we’ll look at one of the most prominent names in the NBA: Kyrie Irving…

Flat Earthing

Kyrie Irving plays for the Boston Celtics and was the NBA Rookie of the Year. Beyond his basketball prowess he came to notoriety for being one of several prominent athletes to subscribe to the Flat Earth theory.

“This is not even a conspiracy theory…The Earth is flat. The Earth is flat.”

He is even alleged to believe in the conspiracies that JFK and Bob Marley were assassinated (not so far-fetched in my opinion).

Lest the reader think I’m picking on Irving for this, Shaquille O’Neal is also on the list of Flat Earth believers:

“I drive from Florida to California all the time, and it’s flat to me. I do not go up and down at a 360-degree angle, and all that stuff about gravity. Have you looked outside Atlanta lately and seen all these buildings? You mean to tell me that China is under us? China is under us? It’s not. The world is flat.”

Shaq in his Freemason garb

The rapper B.O.B. has also been a proponent of this theory- most recently seeking to fund a satellite into space to prove the flatness.

The Instagram Profile

It seemed that many were able to look past the flat earth stuff, but recently when Irving changed his Instagram profile pic; it tipped the scales…

This symbol has the All Seeing Eye inside the triangle with numbers for sacred geometry. This flows into Pythagoras’ original occult ideas for the creation of reality and the same thread of esoteric knowledge that we see pyramids and triangles as calling cards of the Illuminati.

Some people even claim that Irving is a part of this Illuminati group because he has the tattoo of the All Seeing Eye on his shoulder:

Final Thoughts on Flat Earth

Look- I get the sentiment behind the Flat Earth movement, I really do. Even Irving made a lot of sense when he addressed his core tenets for believing it:

“Anything that you have a particular question on, OK — Is the earth flat or round? — I think you need to do research on it. Ultimately . . . it’s right in front of our faces. I’m telling you it’s right in front of our faces. They lie to us.”

Irving even cited the late Jim Marrs for providing some insight into the assassination of JFK (*note that I was incredibly honored to appear briefly in Marrs’ last book).

I’m on board with the idea that we’re lied to on a regular basis. There are too many financial (and occult-religion) interests at stake for there not to be. To think otherwise is a bit foolish. BUT there is a point where it can go too far.

I don’t believe Irving is in the Illuminati; nor do I subscribe to the theory of a flat earth. If B.O.B. succeeds in raising funds for that satellite, he’ll get hung up when they attempt to calculate the launch of it into orbit because those formulas are based on the fact that the earth is round!

The conspiracy to be considered from all of this is that this type of silly thought is a distraction. It’s intended to distract us from the real agenda- the occult belief system.

In fact, when I wrote this book I addressed the madness of the Flat Earth theory at the end of the intro chapter…
