DARPA’s Avatar Project

DARPA has budgeted $7M for research into a program that will allow soldiers to control robots in the battlefield.

Statement from DAPRA- “the Avatar program will develop interfaces and algorithms to enable a soldier to effectively partner with a semi-autonomous bi-pedal machine and allow it to act as the soldier’s surrogate.”

This makes the decision to go to war far too easy, no longer will we weigh the cost of human casualties and ethics involved with sending humans over to fight. It’s all part of the destruction of empathy for each other and separation of consciousness.

Here’s a video of a robotic dog DAPRA built that lugs gear around.
