Jesse Ventura foe Chris Kyle shot to death

Ventura is about to be the subject of his own conspiracy theory. Chris Kyle, the Navy SEAL sniper who went on record claiming that Jesse Ventura said some derogatory statements against the war and SEALs about a year ago. Ventura was/is in the process of suing him for defamation of character also. There was a fist fight during this altercation, as Kyle’s story goes.

So now it seems that Kyle was shot and killed by a fellow veteran who he had taken out to shoot some rounds for sport and therapy:

“Chad and Chris had taken a veteran out to shoot to try to help him,” Mr. Cox said. “And they were killed.”

The police identified the gunman as Eddie Ray Routh, a 25-year-old veteran with a history of mental illness who had served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The police offered no information about a possible motive.

Mr. Routh shot the men at about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Rough Creek Lodge, an exclusive shooting range near Glen Rose, Tex., about 50 miles southwest of Fort Worth, Sgt. Lonny Haschel, a spokesman for the State Department of Public Safety’s Highway Patrol Division, said in a statement. Mr. Routh was arrested on Saturday night at his home in Lancaster, a suburb south of Dallas. He has been charged with two counts of capital murder, Mr. Haschel said.

More to come on this soon I’m sure. NYT seemed to miss the entire fiasco with Ventura, I’m not sure why. Guess that’s typical of the media to lack the ability to connect any dots. Ziiing! Burn! Get the background of the feud in my other posts:
