UPDATE 20FEB2014: I’ve got the full music video analysis for the Dark Horse music video HERE.
Katy Perry is releasing the second single off her latest album Prism (see my post about the Illuminati & NSA symbolism behind that album concept). This new song is darker in nature and talks about the power of magic and rituals. Straight from Katy’s mouth (via KPopStarz.com):
According to Perry, ‘Dark Horse’ lyrics revolve around a woman asking a man not to be bewitched by her charms: It’s kind of a juxtaposition. It’s got me, a pop artist, with a little bit of an urban kind of hip-hop-flavored background soundtrack to it, and the lyrics are kind of witchy and dark, as if I was a witch warning this man not to fall in love with me, and if you do know I’m going to be your last.”
The term ‘dark horse’ refers to the horse that is unlikely to win a race, but proceeds to do so against all odds. I think the magic references this ability to make something out of nothing, and create a new ‘winner’ with it.
Let’s take a look at some of the lyrics:
Make me your Aphrodite
Make me your one and only
Don’t make me your enemy, your enemy, your enemy
Aphrodite is the female Greek goddess (equivalent to the Roman goddess Venus) and is considered another aspect of the occult and magic. We can see this concept of goddess worship in all of the entertainment industry, with the most recent macabre example being that of Princess Diana’s death in Selena Gomez’ Drive Slow music video. It should also be noted that Selena Gomez’ name is also analogous to the goddess of the moon Selene:
Is Katy Perry going to be the next Illuminati goddess?
What else do we have for lyrics…:
So you wanna play with magic
Boy, you should know what you’re falling for
Baby do you dare to do this
Cause I’m coming at you like a dark horse
Are you ready for, ready for
A perfect storm, perfect storm
Cause once you’re mine, once you’re mine
There’s no going back
The initiate who plays with magic really should know what they are falling for, but that doesn’t stop the musicians and Hollywood stars from dabbling anyways. Kenneth Grant wrote about the downfall of playing with magic when one is not ready for it in The Magical Revival:
In mediaeval times secrecy was restored to more as a safeguard for the occultist than for the world of which he formed a part. The scene is not much different today, except that the tables are turned. The indiscriminate revelation of occult formulae often leads to insanity and death. The unprepared who meddle with occult processes invite trouble.
It couldn’t be spelled out any clearer. Katy Perry is hip to what is going on behind the scenes and she is being very much out in the open with it. We see mental breakdowns all of the time in the entertainment industry, which usually get blamed on drugs (e.g. Britney Spears shaving her head, Michael Jackson and all of his woes, Whitney Houston, Anna Nicole Smith, etc.).
Let’s see what else she talks about:
Mark my words
This love will make you levitate
Like a bird
Like a bird without a cage
Ahhh yes, the ol’ bird in a cage symbolism. This is rumored to indicate the person is a victim of MK ULTRA mind control, and the cage is an ‘alter’ that keeps them from breaking free. The trauma-based mind control techniques work something similar to an amnesic barrier that goes up right before something very traumatic happens (think car accidents). So it’s ironic she would talk about levitating (like the possessed) and then use this mind control analogy. Lady Gaga loves the bird symbolism as well:
In fact you can see the bird in the cage in her video Applause:
And finally here comes the Juice man:
She’ll turn cold as a freezer
That fairy tale ending with a knight in shining armor
She can be my Sleeping Beauty
Not a whole lot from Juicy J, (aside from the fact that his former rap identity belonged to Three-6-Mafia, with the devilish name and equally evil lyrics of drugs and murder), but he did say something about Sleeping Beauty which I recently revealed as being an extremely dark story about the rape of an underage girl. And that story is being retold from the point of view of the evil witch, Maleficent (which has its own Illuminati symbolism).
Why are we getting this tale from the dark point of view? To build up a sympathetic view for the dark hero. Conspiracy theorist Freeman talks about the latest trend in films such as Batman: Dark Knight where Hollywood has found a way to make us root for villains and darker forms of the super hero on Red Ice Radio:
I’ll post the video if (more like ‘when’) I see any Illuminati symbolism in it as well. For now, here is the official audio version:
Katy Perry and Juicy J performed this song on the 56th Grammys and I’ve got an entire post about the show (and Katy’s occult ritual performance) and her Dark Horse artwork with the all seeing eyes and mind control bird cages:
