Giza Pyramid Explorer App

Discovery.com has a post about a free app that allows you explore the Pyramids of Giza. It is based on the findings of archaeologist George Reisner.

In 40 years of excavations, Reisner unearthed thousands of remains and works of art and left a thorough catalog of his explorations, with some 45,000 photographic glass plate negatives, tens of thousands of pages of diaries, manuscripts and reports, countless maps, diagrams, notes, and copious correspondence.

When you go to the website you might have to download a quick little processing software and install it. It takes a couple of minutes but it’s worth it. Here’s the app website: http://giza3d.3ds.com/#discover
