Decent countdown of musical conspiracy theories including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Pink Floyd, etc. An interesting one I’ve never heard of includes Morrissey and how he could’ve been predicting Princess Diana’s death:
The Smiths album The Queen Is Dead features a song ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’, that mentions death and a darkened underpass. The 13th word on side 1 is “Arches” and the 13th word on side 2 is “smash”, Princess Diana died when her car hit the 13th arch of the Alma Tunnel.

But then a strange fear gripped me and I just couldn’t ask.
Considering Morrissey’s other writing I suspect it’s more to do frustrated passion that any plot to murder the odd ex-Royal. What must you make of “under the iron bridge we kissed”?
Actually “Arches” is the seventeenth word in “The Queen is dead”, before the first verse a distorted Morrissey can be heard to say “I don’t bless them” and that’s without counting the intro lifted from “The L shaped room”.
The track was recorded in November 1985 so probably written about the time Diana was giving birth to Harry. Other than that the idea is utter bollocks.
If you look at the printed lyrics that come with the album you will see that “arches” is indeed the 13th printed word on side 1. And “smash” is the 13th printed word on side 2. Diana smashed into the 13th arch. Spooky stuff!
