Marine Monster Washes Up on South Carolina Beach

This thing washed up on Folly Beach in S.C., it seems to be about ten feet long and has scales. The media or whoever is claiming it to be an Atlantic Sturgeon, which can in fact grow up to 15 feet and over 800 pounds. Kind of creepy though. Here’s the actual story and photo:

And just to check it, I looked up a large Sturgeon elsewhere and it does look pretty similar:

 

I originally thought this was a cover up of sorts for the Plum Island Animal Disease Center out of New York because they’ve had their share of conspiracy time, like the Montauk Monster:
